If you have access to the database, in the table _users, change the field usr_valid for the admin user from 0 to 1.
If it's already 1, I must admit I don't have a clue.

Problem solved:
In the setting for activities, change default to Detailed view.
Save and then change it back to Compact view and save.
Now it works.

After the last update, when showing the calendar/activities in compact view, no items are shown (but number of items is shown)

Switching to Detailed view shows all entries.

I have updated both plugins and themes to newest.

When creating new activity, it does not appear.
When editing an empty description of an activity, nothing happens after save.
It's still empty.

Admidio and Plugins are updated to the latest versions.

I had overlooked changes to the adm_theme folder.

It seems like the following folder was not present in version 4.1.19:
adm_themes\simple\templates\sys-template-parts

So I copied this over as well.

So it works now.
