Password resetting

Is there any way we can get the administrator role to physically/manually set the password before it gets sent out to the end user?
I have just set up a test version of Admidio off-line on my PC server, and that does not send out emails. I want to test the functionalities of creating various processes, with a number of 'dummy members', and it appears that the only way I can get the 'members' to log in is for them to type in a user name and password which has been generated by the program and then emailed out.
