Version 6 ?!

Hi,
I've been looking for informations on how to make a plug-in for admidio (mostly to enhance the events management) and in the documentation there are some references to Admidio V6, but there is no Admidio V6 available (maybe in some kind of beta branch ?!). It seems the plug-in architecture has been completely changed between V5 (current) and the V6... So I'm wondering about what strategy I'll need to adopt : develop a V5 compatible plug-in that will need to be rewritten for V6, or wait until V6 releases to make it ??

Hi,

We're planning to start the beta phase for Admidio 6 within the next 1–2 weeks. Since the plugin architecture has changed significantly, I would recommend developing your plugin directly for version 6 rather than starting with version 5.

So the timing is actually quite good to get started with a new plugin!

Thankyou, then I'll keep an eye on it...
There are also references to a V5.1 at some places, is it the V6 or still another version ?

First we want to release a 5.1, but then we made to much and important changes, so a 6.0 represents the change state better.
