Hello everyone,
I’m using Admidio to manage our membership database, and I’d like to know if it’s possible to configure profile field permissions for a specific role.
We have two custom profile fields:
Emergency Contact Person
Emergency Contact Number
These fields are currently hidden from the general membership. However, we have a role called Trip Leader, and members assigned to this role need to access emergency contact information when organizing trips.
On the Profile Fields page, the tooltip for the eye icon says: “Field Viewable for Authorized Members only (own profile & role rights).”
I’m wondering how to grant the Trip Leader role permission to view these two fields without making them visible to all members.
Is there a setting that allows administrators to assign profile field viewing permissions to specific roles? If so, could someone explain how to configure it?
Ideally, only authorized Trip Leaders and administrators should be able to view this information, while regular members should not have access to other members’ emergency contact details.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help!
