how to change menu names

Hi,

I want to edit the name of the "announcements" and also change the description of them (the text appearing below the module name at adm_program/index.php ). I did that in the past (from the admidio interface), but unable to find out the menu where I did that.
Can any of you help me?

Re: plans for future releases

Hi Fasse,
I cannot answer you for sure because I dont know enough admidio.

In my mind, I would like to see in the list of modules (the rightmost frame) "Awards" or "Aims" and that when
clicked on them the relevant page appear in the largest frame (as it is the case for every module).
If instead ...

plans for future releases

Hi,

I wonder if you are considering the possibility to have more modules visible to all. I'm thinking to

- about us
- winners
- organization aims

These are just copies of the existing module "Announcements" with a different title.

Re: bug report with user management

Bug 1 fixed. *I* did a mistake in the .css file, placing in it my changes
at the *wrong* position.

Re: long lists

I was thinking the same but

in which columns of which table is stored the quantity to be updated?

I know how to update something in the database with a value, but I need to know
"value" and "something". I browsed all tables, but nothing comes to my mind.

Thanks, Stefano

member directory open on Web

Hi,

I would like to make available the membership directory and its content (e-mail, affiliation, etc)
available to everyone on internet, much like other international associations, such as
http://www.iau.org/administration/membe ... ndividual/

Is it possible? How?

Thanks in advance, Stefano

bug report with user management

Hi,

I use firefox 38.3.0 under linux and admidio 3.1.1.

1) When creating a user with a desktop layout a window appears
("please provide first name ...") but I cannot write inside it,
neither close or do anything. If I reduce the firefox screen to
have a smartphone layout, and then create a user ...

long lists

Hi,

I want to create a new list "All" so that every member can e-mail all the other members easily.
Once created a list named "All'' one needs to assign members. I cannot (of course)
assign all >550 members clicking one by one. How can I assign all members in the list "All"?

Re: set starting member date

Suppose you have 500 members, each one with a different starting date. Should I
make 500 lists and, for each of them, hand select the starting date? This is my
own case.

To me, it would be easier to write a (say csh) script that changes the value of the variable that
contain the date *if* I would ...

set starting member date

Hi,

how may I ingest a list of members, each one with its own starting membership date? Ingesting a list
is trivial, but how to set the starting memberships date (not by hand one by one!)?

Thanks, S.
