Edit participation

Beitrag von Schwartz »

Hello ADMIDIO

It should be possible on the event to have a button : edit participation.
When it is an ordinary participant, that clicks the button, then he gets a line ( much as the line that can be seen now in "list participants" but with some other fields ) with his own participation.
Some fields that only the eventowner can edit. This could be a "participation accepted" field and then a textfield for putting in some information as : "Payment received". He can see the fields but not edit.
Then some fields that only the participant can edit : this could be "number of participants" or, as the member always participate : number of guests. And then a textfield for the participants comment to the event.
Then when the eventowner in text has written on the event : 2 guests allowed, and the participant has 3 guests on the participation, then the eventowner can in his field write : Not approved - too many guests.
OR the eventowner could specify the allowed number of guests on the event.

When it is the eventowner that clicks the button " edit participation" all participants are shown - both participants and participants on waiting list - sorted participants first and then waiting's .
The eventowner can edit all fields except "participant" fields.

The eventowner cannot delete a participation except his own, but he can refuse to accept a participation and then he can raise the allowed number to participate.

This way the event-owner can keep track of who has paid for the participation, and when the day comes when the event is locked, then ( the event is not locked for the eventowner ) he can change the number of participants allowed, and then status will change for some on the waiting list that is marked for accepted.
This way the eventowner can manage to have all participants that has paid and is accepted to be on the event, and all participants will have been informed.
